Three short-listed entries from each category will be invited to a special awards ceremony at Lord’s Cricket Ground on Wednesday, December 6, 2006, hosted by The Daily Telegraph and Norwich Union.
Those attending will be treated to a buffet lunch, prepared in conjunction with the England Cricket Team nutritionalists, in the company of many sporting celebrities, such as the likes of Dame Kelly Holmes, who have been involved both on the judging panel and who will be presenting the awards on the day.
The home of cricket provides a memorable setting for this special day where there will be the chance for the nominees to have a look round and have their photos taken at this impressive venue and with the sporting superstars.
