Am I eligible to enter?
The Awards are open to schools with sport for pupils of any age between 11-18 year olds. (Therefore prep schools can enter if the entry is relevant to an U11, U12, U13 team or individual but not for younger age groups).
How do I enter?
Please speak to your School Sport Matters Representative about the person/team you wish to nominate. They will co-ordinate all of your school entries and decide which ones are to be submitted to the competition. All entries must be submitted online via the How to Enter page – click here to make your entry.
How many categories can I enter?
Each school can enter as many categories as they wish, but can only submit one entry per category. Click here to go to the online entry page.
Who can I nominate?
You can nominate anyone who you think has made a difference to your school sport. The nominee can be a student, a teacher, a parent, a volunteer or anyone else who has contributed to improving sport in your school.
What if I have problems entering online?

What is the deadline for entries?
Entries close at midnight, Sunday, November 5. Click here to go to the online entry page.
How do I know if I’ve been short-listed for the School Sport Matters Awards?
All of the entries will be collated and looked at by our judging panel. The three best entries per category will be short-listed by mid-November so keep checking in-paper and online to see if you are one of those qualifiers.
